JULY'S "IT" BOY- THOMAS IAN NICHOLAS!
Yo!
I started acting when I was 7. My first major role was on Who's the Boss? I was a little Tony Danza.
All in the family
Including step [siblings], I'm the youngest of nine. If I call them step or half, they'll kick my butt. My brother Tim is the next one up. We're working together. We wrote a short film. He's going to produce and I'm going to direct. When we were younger he used to push me in the pool, shoot me with paint balls. They're proud of me. When I'm out with my brothers, we'll be in a store and someone will give me the "Hey, you look kind of familiar" and I try to shy away from it. Maybe say, "Where did you go to high school?" but my brothers will always be like, "That's because he's in American Pie." I know where they're coming from but it's really embarrassing. I love to meet people but it's embarrassing when they get into it.
Single guy
I was kind of seeing someone and I left for this job in Vancouver. So, we're kind of taking a little break now and will see how things progress. It's hard for everyone. It's always hard to find someone you like and who likes you. I do like relationships. I only had one really long one -- it was about five and a half years. Other than that, I haven't had anything that's lasted more than a couple months.
Musically inclined
I definitely enjoy playing music. I had a band for awhile and now I'm recording on my own. Going to shop around a few songs and see what happens. I got to sing some big band music in Stealing Sinatra [on Showtime]. A Frank Sinatra cover and a Tony Bennett cover. I actually got to go in the studio and record the vocal and then got to lip synch to my own songs. My band was a three-piece garage band, kind of Christian rock. Now I just do more Bruce Springsteen-style story telling, modern rock. People have equated it to Bon Jovi.
