For once, a star who doesn't mind being labeled "the nice guy"-- even if his friends wish he'd cop a bit more attitude. "They're always telling me I don't realise how many girls I could get," says Thomas, who as Kevin Myers in the American Pie movies,spent his time trying to get it on with Tara Reid. "When I break up with someone I'm devastated but my freinds are like, 'Dude, what are you so worried about? You should have no problm getting women.'" We bet his friends are right, even though this single 21 year old seems more intent on writing screenplays and songs about the ups and downs of his love life than actually trying to score with a new gal pal.

While he hopes to turn his heartbreak into a debut album sometime soon, Thomas plays a doomed teen in the campy Halloween: Resurrection(out [Friday July 12th]). Seeing his body get slashed to shreds on screen by serial killer Michael Myers didn't even faze him! "I just watch it and think, Am I breathing? Do I really look dead?" Thomas says. His mom is not quite so indifferent. "She's not into watching her son get killed," he says. Let's hope his potential girlfriends are less squeamish!
